Liquid Culture Premix

About this premix

Liquid Culture Premix is our pre-weighed nutrient blend for growing mushroom mycelium in liquid. It combines balanced sugars, bioavailable amino acids and pH buffers, so the broth stays clear, resists caramelizing during sterilization and holds its pH in storage. It works for gourmet and medicinal species alike.

How to use it

1. Add 700 mL of water and a magnetic stir rod to a mason jar with an LC lid.
2. Weigh 30 g of premix and add it to the jar. Swirl to start dissolving.
3. Seal the lid and cover it with aluminum foil.
4. Sterilize at 15 PSI for 30 minutes.
5. Let the jar cool for at least 1 hour, then stir on a stir plate as it reaches room temperature.
6. Inoculate with a clean culture once fully cooled.
