About this premix

Premium Malt Agar Premix is our refined, lab-grade agar. It combines a more refined dark malt extract with yeast and organic agar, giving clear, consistent plates for growers and labs with dialed-in culture processes.

How to use it

1. Mix 50 g of premix per liter of distilled water.
2. Sterilize at 15 PSI for 30 minutes.
3. Swirl gently after sterilization to release bubbles.
4. Pour about 20 mL per 90 mm petri dish while the media is still hot.
