Potato Dextrose Agar Premix (PDA + Yeast)

About this premix

Potato Dextrose Agar Premix is our ready-to-mix PDA. It uses the same base as our Premium Malt Agar Premix, yeast and organic agar, with potato dextrose in place of malt. Potato dextrose agar is a long-standing lab standard that supports strong mycelial growth across gourmet and medicinal species.

How to use it

1. Mix 40 g of premix per liter of distilled water.
2. Sterilize at 15 PSI for 30 minutes.
3. Swirl gently after sterilization to release bubbles.
4. Pour about 20 mL per 90 mm petri dish while the media is still hot.
