About this corer
An agar corer punches a clean, uniform 9 mm plug from a colonized plate. Every transfer gets the same amount of mycelium, which makes inoculation faster and results more consistent than cutting wedges by hand.
How to use it
Press the corer into clean, colonized agar, lift the plug, and drop it onto a fresh plate, into grain, or into liquid culture. Sanitize with 70% isopropyl alcohol before use and between transfers.
